Our team of certified coaches are member-focused, helping you meet your personal fitness goals. They lead by example, and help you improve performance by teaching proper technique. They gently guide beginners through the basics, focusing on the fundamentals of movement and mechanics. For intermediate and advanced fitness devotees, our coaches continue to mentor and motivate. They’re fiercely dedicated and will help you find and unleash your inner athlete.

CROSSFIT LEVEL 1 / CROSSFIT WEIGHTLIFTING // Coach Grant graduateD\d from the University of Delaware. As a coach, he cares about every CFBTS athlete who walks through the door. He’ll do everything he can to help members reach their fitness goals, and maybe even change their lives.

CROSSFIT LEVEL 1 / Coach Ryan hails from Bucks graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelor’s degree in History. A former Police Officer in both PA and then in South Carolina. Ryan's philosophy: “Be happy in what you do. Love your family. Try to live stress free.”

CrossFit Level 1 / CrossFit Level 2 // A Wall native and Rowan University grad, Coach Jay played soccer in both high school and college. Jay credits CrossFit with helping him make positive changes in his life, including the clean living he’s been committed to for the past four years. The mantra Jay lives by, “This too shall pass,” which comes in handy when he’s feeling pressure in or out of the gym.

CROSSFIT LEVEL 1 / CROSSFIT KIDS / CROSSFIT GYMNASTIC // Ashley University of Delaware. In her sophomore year, she chose to focus on academics, but wanted to stay fit and active. Certified in 2010, she earned her CrossFit Kids certification in 2014.

CROSSFIT LEVEL 1 / CPR/AED CERTIFIED // Aaron has earned a degree in Health Studies and Physical Education from Monmouth University and uses that Knowledge and experience daily while coaching CrossFit By The Sea's Athletes. Aaron is currently in pursuit of a second degree to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. Aaron lives by the following, "A Ship at harbor is safe, but that's not what ships were made for."

BTS Fit draws out the potential in every individual, with a motivating support system. Our members come from Asbury Park, Wall, Avon-By-The-Sea, Bradley Beach, Long Branch, Red Bank, and all over the Jersey Shore to experience the best Fitness By The Sea has to offer.

 

The BTS community is made up of people just like you who want to be fit, healthy, and strong. It’s a community that’s going to challenge and support you. Some come to lose weight and get healthy. Some come to build muscle and reshape their body. Some come to train for the competitive circuit. The common factor? Fitness By The Sea is for people like you who strive for something different than the typical boring workout.
